Double Reed Ensembles WANTED!
Calling all student and amateur bassoon, oboe, and double reed ensembles for a fun, light-hearted concert! Enter your group in any of six separate categories…selected ensembles will be highlighted in performance at our BBQFest! SURPRISE ARTISTS are preparing a GRAND FINALE you do NOT want to miss!
Categories include:
- Most Traditional
- Best Pop Arrangement
- Most Entertaining
- Most Original Oboe/EH Ensemble
- Most Original Bassoon/Ctra Ensemble
- Best BBQ Dinner Music
To Enter:
Submit a DVD/CD of your ensemble's performance

Broom Ball Tourney
A Broom Ball Tourney is planned for all interested IDRS registrants. Broom Ball is the quintessential pasttime of Miami University students. Played on the ice of the Miami University Champion Hockey Team, players in street shoes aim to recreate Field Hockey on ice! Dynamic Double Reeds, the Double Reed Broom Ball Team, recommends wearing long pants and long shirts when playing…as ice is chilly.
